In 2005 our initial group consisted of a cooperation of 4 people: a biologist from Great Falls, Montana; a Cree Nations elder representing the First Nations People; the skeptic Todd Standing; and a paramedic fire fighter from Calgary, Alberta.

After Todd went public with our work, enthusiasts, scientists, and wilderness experts from around the globe began to collaborate with the Sylvanic team. Now we collaborate with scientists from as far away as China and half a dozen forestry and wildlife officers in Canada and the United States.

Our tremendous success has come about from our enormous collaboration of minds, experiences, knowledge, and wisdom from all walks of life. Primatology meets first nations experiences; anthropology combines with the greatest hunting techniques on the planet. The experiences have been passed down through tens of thousands of years of first nations oral history and tradition with decades of scientific studies.

Our ultimate goal is to ethically introduce civilization to the most man-like primate on the planet.

The sad thing is if they are discovered to be real I think you will have a very hard time trying to protect them. Just look at what is going on in whale wars. I mean we even kill and murder our own kind. How sick is that? We are despicable as a race. Maybe they are better off being left undiscovered.

Hoaxer or not, the guy is increasing the awareness of the species so i can appreciate that. Moneymaker has ruined this guys credibility now after that show, which he shouldn't have even gone on. If he is a hoaxer he's got some balls what with all the air time he's gotten.

Just imagine how much money we can make of Sasquatches and Bigfoots. You can buy some packaged meat for $200/kg at the grocery store.

Or you can see them at the zoo for triple the price of a lion.

Obviously, both would be pretty bad, but people will exploit them if found and make money off them.

let me tell something! i was told as a little girl now 43. stories that would blow your mind. and i will start with this. my brother and i grew up in Arkansas. people don't believe in Ghost....but i know for a fact they do exist...we use to have this rocking chair.and my brother where more afraid i think then i was..he said to me do you here that? i said what...he said the chair it's rocking by it self..i got up and we look into our livingroom and we saw forks spoon....floating mid air
