'The history of my life is in my songs'. Judy Garland. The world is reawakening to the musical legacy given to us by an enigmatic genius. In this video, hopefully I am pulling back the curtain just a little more. ... For Liza, Lorna, & Joe. Jesse & Vanessa. May the light of Judy Garland's legacy shine forever. *No copyright infringement intended*
Ol Man River & Through The Years are highlighted songs.
Clips of Judy with her children. This is for them ... & the many generations to follow. It is the legacy of a Mother, a Grandmother, ... a Lady Of Songs, A Muse who lived among us for a short while filling our souls with wonderous dreams. For all the tears & laughter, sorrow & joy ... forever in our hearts.
I hope this series has given you as much pleasure watching/listening as I had creating.
Video clips: American Masters & A&E Biography.

  • No other woman could ever sing Ol Man River as good as she did....and only one man...the man who sang it in Show Boat and she equalled it and then some. Wonderful....Thanks for puting this series together!

It took me about 4 months to get everything together ... the clips, songs, doing the graphics on the photos. It was an odyssey that I loved going on ... for Liza, Lorna, & Joe ... & The Legacy they carry in their hearts, sharing it with the world.

Thanks for spending your time with me on a journey ...

  • How I envy you(in a good way) having a fab Uncle who took you to see JUDY at her absolute prime(both vocally and mentally) I think that if there were one concert that I could go back in time and see it would be April 23, 1961:JUDY at Carnegie Hall!!!

  • By the way .. Happy Birthday, Judy. They have those in Heaven, I'm sure. Luv You.

  • Thanks so much for assembing this. Today's masses don't appreciate this kind of shattering genius, but don't worry Judy ... I'm about to publish a book that will--quite forwardly--remind them why they ought to, at least before the asteroid hits.

  • Judy was so wounderful. I love her!

  • The aren't enough adjectives to describe this REMARKABLE WOMAN.

  • Sheer emotion - raw, real, and electric is what defined Judy as an artist, entertainer, and human being. There will never be another. The world was given a rare gift the day she was born. When she died I suspect we all died a little too. Thanks for posting this treasure.

  • Watching J*U*D*Y perform... and hearing her sing with such a passion... is the best gift a singer ever gave an audience!!! Fantasic!!! Thanks for posting this. (Thank you my great pal Mario for sharing this!!) - joe
