Bermuda Shipwreck Munising Michigan Lake Superior

This is the Bermuda in Munising Michigan. It rests in only 30 feet of water with the bow only 12 feet deep. It is seen by many tourists via a glass bottom boat. Here it is from a scuba perspective.

I heard that it was originally a fully rigged schooner, but later is was used as a barge. Than there are some who say this may not be the Bermuda at all.

There is one mystery that still bugs me, Why is there a tow hitch on the front of the ship? The research i have done said that the Bermuda was a Fully Rigged Schooner, not a Schooner-Barge.

After the tour, if you are hungry, go west on M28 about 7 or 8 miles to "Foggys", a cool little roadside bar/restaurant where you can grill your own steak on a grill about the size of two pool tables. Grab your favorite seasonings and do it up the way you like it. Good food and reasonable prices.

I am going to visit this area in august of this year, do you know if anyone lost their life on this ship wreck or any others that went down in Lake Superior besides the big fitz
