Brother Victor Frankenhauser reviews 71 years of monastic vows at Assumption Abbey in Richardton, North Dakota. Born and raised only a block and a half away, he joined the community as a young man and served as a bookbinder, sacristan, and in the Abbey Press. He was also guest master for many years. Even as a 90-year-old, Brother Victor enjoys giving tours and answering the phone in the abbey visitor center. He has known nearly every monk who has been or is a member of Assumption Abbey.
