How to mod a Sunpak .5x wide angle lens into a fisheye Part 1

Make sure when you take the lens out to clean both sides, and if the cleaner is like mine and isnt spray, apply it to the cloth then apply the cloth to the lens. If you apply it right to the lens then use the cloth it could damage it.

I havent been able to mod my Bower lens yet because i lost my screwdriver and the cd method doesnt work for the bower lens


The sunpak thread size is 37mm but come with converters: 25mm, 27mm, 30mm, and 30.5mm

Materials:
Sunpak lens - $40 at best buy
Lens cleaner and microfiber cloth - $5 at best buy
Flathead screwdriver - $1-7 any hardware store
CD - any disk is fine

I bought my Bower .38x super wide angle at www.goshotcamera.com but I dont recommend you buy it there because the shipping took 2 weeks even though it says it takes 1-2 days
I'll probably make a video for the bower lens when i mod it

thanks for the video man, but when i flipped the lense and put everything back 2gether it didnt look fisheyed and there wasnt a circle on the corners of the screen. whats up with that?

i had that wide angle lens, but i didnt know you could do that. so i went and ordered an opteka super fisheye. i gave the wide angle lens away, then the guy i gave it to showed me how he turned it into a fisheye. i felt hella stupid. xD
