Big Bang Astronomy Theories Swift satellite

Swift is a satellite designed by Penn State researchers and launched by NASA to study gamma-ray bursts. Launched in November of 2005, the satellite was named after the swift, a small, quickly moving bird. Catching a GRB is no easy task. The burst can appear from any direction without warning and can last for only a few milliseconds to just over a minute. So, the satellite has to move quickly and be in position to capture the data. According to NASA, no other satellite turns faster. In addition to GRBs, Swift searches and records other phenomena it observes in the sky.

Well, the Big Bang was not really an Explosion as there was nothing to explode into. Try to see the galaxy as a bread full of raisins getting bigger & bigger. Each raisin (galaxy) moves away from the other raisins. The Big Bang energy made the tiny space very hot and space has been cooling down ever since, so the background radiation of the Big Bang is nowadays only 2.7 degrees Kelvin. Cosmic background radiation has been mapped by spaceraft: COBE and WMAP and ESA plans news missions in 2008

I believe they predicted that the big bang was found out by seeing galaxies constantly moving away from one another. If that is so, why do some galaxies collide with one another if they are moving apart? Always wondered that
