Christmas is traditionally a time for putting disagreements aside.

But peace and harmony were put aside at Bethlehem's Church of the Nativity in Palestine, one of Christianity's holiest sites.

About 100 priests and monks battled on the site where Jesus is said to have been born.

Al Jazeera's Charlie Angela reports.

  • 100 Priests fighting with each other, in the most holy of churches, The Bethlehem Church!?! ... Did someone throw a naked alter-boy in the middle of them?

  • The coup de grace is when the report says no one was arrested because "all those involved were men of god". Yep, they sure as hell were. That's how most men of imaginary beings behave. Fighting over nothing.

  • @MrNoepoe I am concerned that now you are a person who despises me and cares nothing for who I am as a human being. This is what is wrong with the world and people say Jesus is not needed. I am sorry to see you are so full of hatred and do not hold very high opinions of people in general. I could sense so much hatred in your post and am quite concerned that you might hurt someone physically. I hope you are able to find someone who loves you like you should be loved. God Bless.

  • @MrNoepoe I am sorry you are so quick to end the discussion. Instead of getting personal, it would have been nice for you to respond out of courtesy. Unfortunately, so few know how to do that nowadays. I wish you the best and happy hunting for your proof. Keep searching for Jesus...he will show up one day when you are ready.

As for the counseling comment, I could say the same for you...but I won't.

  • @Yah023weh Exactly... Then, when Jesus died on the cross, those who were redeemed became WORTHY in the sight of God. But be it known that not all men were redeemed thus worthy before God, neither the Catholic church... and I assure, you there is an existing true and redeemed Christian church in the midst of all these false churches. Gotta find it before its too late.

  • @Yah023weh OK, you could probably use some councelling to get back in touch with reality. "Being controlled by the Holy Spirit" and the wall of nonsensical text is something that you hear in news stories, where people have hit some sort of rock bottom and start doing some really weird stuff - usually ending up hurting other people.

Or maybe you're a troll, who knows.

Anyway, nobody is exactly gaining anything from this discussion, so let's end it here.

  • @MrNoepoe Death is a good thing.

If I knew that you would come to know the truth and follow Jesus, I would die for that to happen.

That is how strong my conviction is. Can you say that about yours?

  • @MrNoepoe If you do not know what "Rock Bottom" is, I pray you do not find out.

In essence, you feel completely helpless and alone.

Everything is out of control...nothing can be done to fix it.

All your friends have deserted you.

You may have lost your job.

You may have lost your wife.

Possibly lost your kids as well in an unfortunate accident

    that killed your whole family.

Rock Bottom does not always entail someone dying, but God is not above it if it leads you to find him.

    Death is not evil.

  • @MrNoepoe As crazy as you may think it seems, you and everyone else in the world can not do it alone. You cannot make it through life all by yourself. You cannot do everything. Once people get a big taste of this, they realize that they cannot control everything and that they need help. They need God.

I will repeat as this is from experience.

Most people find God when they have hit rock bottom.

Let me say it again, Most people find God when they have hit rock bottom.

  • @MrNoepoe Now all that separates you and God is whether you follow his son or not.

He has made it easy...it still comes down to a choice of who you worship.

God is not just another deity as you seem to keep mentioning.

    He is the God.

I see you missed what I had said about people running to God for help when they have hit rock bottom. Have you never hit rock bottom? It seems that you have not yet.

I hope for your sake God finds you before you do.

  • @MrNoepoe Please explain how what I said had nothing to do with the original point?

Of course I still talk about God. Why would I not?

Jesus is the only one that still lives. He was risen from the grave. Christianity is the only religion that has Grace. All other religions address issues from a consequential standpoint while God just wants to love you. All other religions are very condemning while God says I have made it as easy as I can. I sent my son to die for my sins.

  • @worthdyingforELI Correction...no one is worthy. Is why Jesus died for our sins.
