@ShadowNHL so Voros was being effective, and clean and playing the game how it should be, but Smith decided to have a hissy fit, goalies get away with murder, imagine the chaos if Voros slashed Smith, goalies are little girls.

If YOU, as a goalie get involved, your teamates will usually get the message. And you WON'T get hurt cause you're literally V.I.P. status you know? You just DON'T touch the goalie! So if u get into somethin, you can be sure your teamates will come runnin to help out. I know that as a goalie, ur job is to stop pucks, but sometimes you JUST gotta deal with it urself. One is better served by himself ;)

I just hate it when the refs litterally wrestle with players to keep 'em from fighting! LET.THEM.GO. When all is said and done, things will calm down. The guys might have dinner together afterwards lol. Alright, maybe not but you get the picture ;)

I knew there was something. Goalies don't just snap for no reason. Same happened to me: other team are up 3 goals and they have a pp with 1 min left in the game and some guy's in my face. Like, wtf are you doing there? Needless to say I dealt with him ;). Goalies need to defend themselves, show some charachter you know? If some guy screws around with you, let him know u don't like it. If he keeps it up and no one gets involved, go ahead and take action!

If you saw the earlier part of this game you would understand why Smith was so frustrated and finally just snapped. Voros had been going to the front of the net the whole game and constantly was in Smith's way, and obviously the great defense in Tampa was standing there doing nothing. At this point it is 4-2 and they were already at a 5 on 3 disadvantage so Smith didn't really care anymore and wasn't going to take Voros anymore. He gave him the slash and punches, I'd probably do the same thing.

haha thats funny I like smith though very good goalie hope to see the lighting in the playoffs this year they a good team Go Sabres though and rangers suck

Voros plays like Sean Avery and Chris Neil. If you saw the rest of the game you would know why Smith was frustrated. Again, If it wasn't for the 10 minute game misconduct penalty, this shit wouldn't happen. The cheap shot artists have free reign and can hide under the skirt of Toronto.
