Flip side to Popicles and Icicles.Popicles and Icicles had three other B sides. They were Huntington Flats (Instrumental),Comedy And Tragedy and Bunny Stomp (Instrumental). The actual color of the lable is more of a darker sherbert pink, but my scanner is off.

  • OMG!! How many beautiful obscure songs have I discovered on You tube? I don't know but this is certainly one of them. A B-side? Unbelievable. Long live Kim Fowley and the Murmaids.

This should have been top 20, at least.

  • @dweml258 I'm happy you enjoyed the song.I also think that it should have been a hit, but it could be that it wasn't promoted enough. Thanks for your comment, and drop by anytime.

  • Beautifull tune, thank's for sharing.

  • @jjkoekemoer Your welcome.

  • mezskr4. Thank you 4 your response I didn't expect it I am always trying to unearth little known musical treasures. Big Star certainly is one of them. And Arthur Alexander (he wrote "Anna" a masterpiece, covered by the Beatles.) Another of my top 15 favorite B-sides..."Prism Song" flip side of "We'll sing in the Sunshine,

    by Gale Garnett (1964)

  • @IDLERACER

Kim Fowley was a very odd bloke. Watch the film "the Runaways"; it has quite a compelling portrait of him.

  • Hey! The two sisters are back together with a third singer to take Sally's place. Her name is Suzi, and They are doing oldies shows. The other day I received a reply from Sally telling me that she has not heard from the sisters in a few years, and she is living in France.

Cool tp get this reply. Thanks Sir David

  • Yeah, that song reminded me of Monica L. the first time I heard it. I got the 45 of "Popsicles" and of course this was on the flipside. I got it from a record store (new) in 1998. They were selling new re-issues.
