Pls reply.. Iam using yamaha fazer(153cc) jst 1 yr old 9000km used>> but in this i feel initial pick up is less so, If i fit this K&N filter can i get more initial pick up for (0-40) ?

@suram08 yes... u can get it increased... i removed ma airfilter and now im back to the stock filter... and i really miss K&N... :)

how to prevent water entering the filter while riding??? n how much do the performance increase???

@46archer Nothing to worry or nothing to do bro. rain water wont enter while riding as the filter will b under ur seat. nothing to worry. performance- pik has increased a little, and some 3kmph increase in top speed, 2-3 km milage drop.

@amuwa It depends on where you get it from like AutoZone or O'Reilly's Auto Part store. It range between $30 - $60 for automobiles and motorcycles. AutoZone and O'Reilly's Auto Part store has their own website too. It is a performance air filter that increases horsepower and fuel economy. Because when their is more air entering our engine equals increase in acceleration and combustion efficiency, which that means better fuel burning in your engine to provide more power.

Hi Kailas,

How did you mange to fix the K&N filter in to the stock filter box. I bought a K&N recently, but I couldn't fix it. I don't want to fix it directly on to the carb. I checked the inlet pipe from the stock filter box, its oval. I hope I don't have to break the stock filter box to accomodate the K&N. Please advise.
