Brushless outrunner powered Razor scooter. 800W Rc aircraft motor, with 100A esc, 8:1 planetary gear reduction. This scooter weighs less than 10lbs without batteries, the motor on my 500W scooter weighs more than this. Motor is also highly efficient at all speeds unlike conventional e scooter motors. The noise is from the gearbox taken from a cordless power tool, the motor is very quiet. Scooter powered by 2 lead acid batteries in backpack which weigh 4.5kg each. hoping to add a battery box soon and fit ni-cd or li-po batteries when i can get some cheap. for more info visit http://www.evalbum.com/1464 for more info. thanks to slofly for the inspiration to build it.

  • please can u tell me how to make an electric scooter like the one in the video ,i will pay for the advice

  • The scooter in the video was very unstable, the motor is now fitted to a larger scooter with inflatable tyres. if you want a small extremely powerful scooter you would be better off buying a tiny 100w scooter from ebay and fitting a brushless motor on it you could use the existing belt drive and be much quieter.

  • yo how fast is that

  • around 25mph! uphill as well!

  • is there like a guide and parts list for this?

  • Unfortunately there is no parts list as this was a one off, this was built to show the amazing power of the tiny motor, check the web address in the description for pictures and more detailed info.
