Kisai Satellite - Intrepid Orbital Design

The solar system was in darkness until Kisai Satellite was sent into orbit. Three vivid halos of light illuminate the pitch black interface turning a simple concept into a striking reality.

A futuristic LED wrist watch design from Tokyoflash. Originally a concept on the Tokyoflash Design Studio Blog, Tokyoflash fans selected Satellite as a design they wanted to see become reality.

Available in white or black with blue or green digital tube LEDs, Kisai Satellite is a USB rechargeable watch with a night time animation mode and an adjustable strap, ideal for all wrist sizes.

  • is it 6:05 when he took this video?

  • @jonahjonahgoodman That's correct, 6:05.

  • I love how it looks, but is it really worth $100? I feel like in reality it's probably worth like $15 and the rest is just an inflated cost. Really, technology like this doesn't cost that much these days.

It does look good and I'd want to buy it if I didn't feel like it's a ripoff.

  • @JesuXPIPassio It is a limited edition design so was made in a small production quantity. Most watch makers mass produce watches using "off the shelf" movements, this watch has an original display that has been developed from the ground up especially for this watch. It's completely unique.

  • to hard to use!!!!

  • @ristyp it's easy once you get used to it :-) you'll be reading the time at a glance after a couple of days.

  • Only one problem with it. You have to push a button to see the time. That defeats the purpose of a wrist watch. If I wanted to push buttons to see the time, I'd use my cellphone.

  • Thumbs up for smooth jazz

  • These fancy back to the future watches would be so much better if they constantly displayed rather than having to push a button.

  • looks super cool! but i wouldn't use it jsut because its kinda big but its really cool!

  • seems like a lot of messing about just to tell the time ,its a novelty watch more than anything else

  • I love old American Jazz!!

  • Glossy screen so its hard to read when light reflects off it...

  • That is major ugly, though.
