  • They have some good players and the division is not really tough like the East. Their closer, Soria, is top notch and Billy Butler is gonna be a star. The pitching, after Zack and Gil Meche, is suspect. Bannister is OK but has to have pinpoint control to succeed. There's not much margin for error with him. I'm not sure the manager they have is the right guy. He's an authoritarian & when you've got a young team you need a guy who keeps it loose. Many have commented on this.

  • yeah your right actully... zack might not do that well in nyc...

i love him in kansas city though.. i just wish he had a chance at playoffs.

they royals dont look that bad this year...

they got rick ankiel, scott podsednik... maybe they can climb out of the basement

  • As much as I'd like for him to keep getting better & then become a free agent so that the Yanks could have a chance at signing him (He might have difficulty in an environment where the camera is always on him like New York) I think it would be great if the Royals manage to put together a competitive team within the next three years so that when Zack becomes a free agent he'd consider staying in KC. KC has a very rich baseball tradition & seeing that organization become what it's become is sad.

  • zacks my favorite player. im a yankee fan. But ever since Zack went 8 - 11 in his first season in the bigs hes been my favorite player. He really has come a long way.
