  • Bingo! "it's okay too to modify." At least we have some common ground here. I have no problem with some modifications to our Gongs & Dances. For instance it's OK to play Gongs and Dance with shirts and jeans on. In the case of the Pattong, it's OK to introduce different formation, or in Tayaw, it's OK if you raise your hands up, on your side, front, back or combinations of the aforesaid. The point is that the Gongs & Dances should always go together to compliment each other.

  • wgacusana, this is awful. It is an insult to the Lang-ay and to us Igorots. Please find time to remove this in your posting. I just want you to know that many are angered by this and I assure you they will not stop until this is removed. Iyaman.

  • HEY GUYS, check this two people out... really good debate. It shows how Igorot people can talk in English in a very professional and intellectual way

  • puro kayo culture ken tradition. the most important thing to show the world is that we are honest, hardworking, etc people. han nga jay makitkita datayo nga agtatakaw, pumatay ken anya pay dita. did our gongs and dances prevented that? han lang nga tradition and culture isuro tayo ngem values kadagiti agtutubo.. ada inar-aramid yo kasjay?

  • being concern to our culture is not being radical in the sense okay. and accepting this is not being openminded, where's your identity in doing this. wake up girl

  • yes we know that our culture is within us but this thing if we keep doing this kind of thing our culture will just degrade and vanished. pls. respect our culture and tradition gongs are better than that retro-music. doing this kind of thing you are not one of us our culture is not laughing stock at all. pls. change this while you have time

  • You got it right, sister, "ha ha ha funny." That's exactly what this video conveys to the viewers specially to those who has not a bit of an idea about my culture. I'm greatly offended because my gongs and dances are not funny at all.
