The AC-DC formula doesn't fly with the laid back Stones style. Should we expect Angus or his brother to change into stones for one song? Probably not. Playing the blues with that crew sounds about as much fun a standing in a closet. Now Keith is different story. I'd love to play some music with that guy. You're too bloody old to be climbing trees Keith. We love you, you crazy old wanker.

four great guitarists ... but I don't think they mesh well together ... but then again there's four guitarists... it's a crowd. ... It's tough... on one hand you have a guitarist that always strictly plays rhythm... then you have another that plays fast solos ... and then you have two guitarists that weaving through each other's lines and interchange leads... The Stones and ACDC are great bands and although they are both blues based... they are so different!

This is a mess. I 've heard a LOT better at blues jams in Sydney. Angus and Malcom are out of their depth with blues. They're not fitting into the groove but fighting with the stones. Listen to Ronnie and Keith play together they are seamless neither gets in the others way. Angus hasn't a clue about "playing the song". AC/DC are a great band no doubting that but don't belong here If Keith is panicking it's more to do with how the hell can I get this idiot to back off and stop wrecking the song

I've always loved the Stones and ACDC and you can definitely hear the Stones in ACDC songs like Rock and Roll Damnation, Night of the Long Knives, and a few others. Even Night Prowler is like a lyrical rewrite of Midnight Ramblers....this is a funny song for them to play, as it's pure straight blues, and neither band really does that anymore...

Angus gets kind of pigeonholed as a "hard rock" player but he's a hell of a blues player. Nice phrasing, tone, attack, and dynamics.
