the point of bouncing it is to get your chest and triceps to move higher weights. id imagine hed do pause bench before a competition.

I don't understand the bouncing off your chest. That seems like it would do more damage than good. I think it would be more impressive if you lowered the weight SLOWLY to your chest (eccentric) and then exploded up. This lift just seems to defy everything I have read about proper lifting. But I could be wrong...???? Either way...you definitely have some strength.
