My composition professor just showed this clip to our class. I have never struggled more intensely to hold in laughter as the rest of my class just stared at the screen, appalled by the ballziness of the girl, the teacher, and my professor for showing this clip. I died laughing.

In college I took fiction writing courses, and you had students that wrote like shit and some who thought they were the greatest thing to happen in writing. Some became frustrated teachers.

This is one of the funniest scenes ever.

Ya, well don't forget that Ernest Hemingway had severe dandruff.

@BryanB1300 HAHAHA IF UR REFERING TO KIDS THATS FUCKING HILARIOUS
We aren't meant to laugh at the person with cerebral palsy, we are meant to laugh at the awkwardness of the situation the other characters find themselves in. They all know his story was bad but they don't want to tell him because he has a disability and they would feel bad. It's funny cause they start comparing him to random writers with disabilities, when really his writing sucks.

I wasn't laughing at cerebral palsy; I'm laughing at the dialog. If you watch Todd Solondz films, you would know why that's funny. It's not an attack on disabilities at all.
It's a certain brand of humor. You either have it, or you don't.
