My favorite train horn. These horns were very commonly found on the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe and they can still be found on some older locomotives today.

Video clips came from Daylight productions: Santa Fe Salute! copyright 1989 WB Productions: Santa Fe's Raton Pass copyright 1991. No copyright infringment intended.

  • Very nice! Last time I heard an RS3L was probably four or five years ago. I didn't know what it was. He blew it right under an over pass...LOUD!!! I don't remember being startled but I looked back and up to see the massive 25 chime! God bless you and the RS3Ls!!!!!

  • @TrainTrackTrav I think I've heard some on NS trains, which is somewhat odd.

  • @KH990j You probably heard the ex Conrail locomotives with RS3Ls on NS

  • @gumball469 that's what I was thinking.
