I believe you think you are trying to do the right thing, but no one disputes that the agents a marrauana smuggler in the ass as he was fleeing and tried to cover it up.

These men broke the law when they knew the law. I wish them the best in their parol hearings but if some mexican police office shot me in the ass rather than give chase down, I would want him to serve time.

I hate drug dealers but the officers broke many laws and as we know cops are not above the law.

There was no 'cover up'- that was the liberal slant on the story.I heard an actual juror speak about it, the jurors were not given all the facts.The bullent that landed in the guys butt didn't even match the border agennt's gun.The only cover up that's happening is in our government.Meanwhile this same guys have been caught smuggling drugs 2 more times since then, and is a free man!

The fact that the government, from Washington to the Local level, are choosing which laws to enforce and ignore is a crying shame!

Ramos and Compean did nothing wrong, they were doing their jobs. Its a dangerous world out there, the border must be guarded and laws must be upheld!

We can not afford to keep you an illegal population. Immigration must be controlled. America loves immigrants, but, can not afford to allow people to come here illegally..... we need criminal background and health records to protect us all, no matter what country of origin.

Deportallmexicans: The situation may well be different where you are, but where we are we often struggle to get even enough mexicans to do the job. Also, the apples here don't come on until school has already started, and since this is a rural area away from any population centers over 1000 people and the local high school is 20 miles away. We also have to compete for labour with farmers who are harvesting milo, soybeans, and corn during the same time. We need CONTROLLED imigration, not no imm.

I beg to differ. I have never had an American apply for a job to help work my orchards, and it hasn't been from lack of trying either. I pay more than twice as much as McDonald's and in fact pay my workers more than I pay myself, and I list jobs in places where unemployed Americans should easily find it, such as the local unemployment office, VFW posts, High Schools, and community collages (to name only a few) but I have yet to get even a single American applicant. Only SotB green-card holders.
