Salisbury: a quiet, small town on the Eastern Shore of Maryland where nothing ever seems to happen.

This summer, however, a string of murders and strange events will shatter the city's illusion of peace and safety. When the police refuse to waste their time investigating an "urban myth," it is up to Chief Inspector Detective Miller to track down the murderer and reveal the truth.

Meanwhile, the "monster," a poor college student cursed before his birth, struggles to maintain control over his actions and fate. Is he doomed forever, or will he be able to stop himself before he ends up destroying everything and everyone he loves?
