Calvin probably thought Servetus was part of a plot to kill him and used Servetus' doctrines as an excuse.

We do not need any struggle we ,muslim know that Triniity does not exist < < but it was pagan roman , look for christian feast like hollown you will see that it was taking from the roman pagan .

Very good! Servetus is my hero. If God believed in a Trinity, He would have mentioned it in the Bible. It's not there. God's Name is Yahweh, meaning "He Causes Being" and Jesus is His full expression.
If Servetus had not been murdered, and American Christianity branched off of Servetus instead of from Calvin, we might be living in a much better world today. But humankind took a wrong turn when Servetus was killed by the evil ones. One day the truth will emerge above the false doctrine.

There is no doubt that anytime the secular and religious authorities enmesh themselves together, it has always resulted in oppression and bloody persecution. I pray that it won't happen in our country (U.S.A.), but we know the Scriptures testify differently. We must be mindful 'watchers on the wall', looking for the ever increasing melding of Church/State. This will be one of the final events of earth's history before the 2nd Advent of our LORD, no question.

Free Will - Calvin preached against freedom of thought and faith, and so decreed the destruction of Michael Servetus. Instead of being conformed to the image of Christ and obeying his command to 'love your enemies' (Matt 5:44), Mr. Calvin destroyed his. But in America we need not fear Calvin, for the Calvinist is not free to kill those who choose not to worship John Calvin but Jesus Christ instead. Praise God for our God given free-will.
