@lovesherforever22 no one wants a player who shows up to a job interview (NFL Combine) out of shape. No one wants a corner that runs a 4.7 40. He played his ass off for us but he didn't do himself any favors. NFL talent - yes. NFL mindset - no.

@JTBallin93 You really have no idea what you are talking about. He was never in trouble with the law. Thinking and starting lies doesn't make it real. Don't say anything unless you know the truth, all that does is start rumors. I have talked to Derek, and he is a humble and generous guy. Don't talk down about someone unless you have been in his shoes or know him personally. It had nothing to do with his off the field issues, Pegues just didn't make it. Was a practice squad for the Chicago Bears.

i mean really this was awesome.. me and my friends had went to watch a movie and were like man forget this game, then we got a call from friends and like STATES BACK IN IT TURN ON THE TV! and we turned it on right as he made this play

this guy was a stud at South Panola and State too bad he only runs a 4.69 40 yard dash at the combine but he is still a damn good player with great quickness, he could be a good backup safety for somebody
