A creative mix of fun and colorful ideas are just what you need for a fantastic baby shower. In this video, party stylist Kim Stoegbauer from The TomKat Studio demonstrates how to make tissue paper poms for a baby shower.

If you have a few supplies like a scissor, pencil, ruler, ribbon and a tissue paper handy, then this easy-to-do demonstration will be much simpler. Start by deciding on the shade and choose a color that best matches your color scheme. Kim starts by placing twelve tissue papers of the same size on the work surface.

With the help of a ruler, she marks about one and a half inches and starts folding the paper back and forth. After doing that, she folds the paper into half and ties a double knot exactly in the centre. She then cuts the edges to give it a rounded form around the sides. The papers are then opened in opposite directions to create a wonderful, fluffy pom.

You can hang these attractive paper poms just about anywhere. Whether it is a baby shower or a themed party, these fun paper poms are sure to catch your guests' attention!
