Square-Wheeled Tricycle

The Texas A&M Physics Department's square -wheeled trike, built by the machine shop. The trike rides on a road of repeated pieces of an inverted catenary.

Needed an example against "Do not reinvent the wheel" (that assumes the wheels are perfect, nothing is perfect), and it's: Reinvent the wheel when the wheel doesn't work on your ground. And how did you end on such "bad" ground? because that's what your boss, who knows too few of engineering, "request" you. Just my opinion. There is also reinvent the wheel when you plan to learn about wheels, though.
