This is a reposting of my first fan vid. Nothing has changed, except the format raio, which is now in the correct letterbox format. Again, this is not the best video, but I think it turned out alright. The images are from the Enterprise episode "Countdown." The song is "Shallow Bay" by Breaking Benjamin.
@dahoeb they are close together by space standards, i suspect the distances are alot longer than they look but yeah it is odd. the best i can figure is they are sticking together to make target selection harder, same principle as a school of fish. also it probably helps them focus firepower. finally to be realistic no one in their right mind would manually pilot ships this fast. most likely it is a combination of manual and computer piloting to avoid collisions unless intended.

@dahoeb I would assume that these ship's beam weapons don't have a good range. For DS9, it's a tactic to be closer together (somehow) since there were fleet battles that had no room to maneuver anyways.

why do all these ships insist on flying so damn close together. tactically, it's retarded (makes you all easy, hard to miss targets) and then it gives them virtually no room to safely manuever. DS9's big battles are the same way...

The insectoids ship's shields were probably down from battle damage.
