@MotherNikita: You don't come across as a dick at all. Actually, it was me came across as a dick. But it appeared to me your annoyance was with people who call themselves conservative. I was just stating that libertarianism get's it's principles from conservatism. And conservatism stems from republicanism. To me, libertarians want to take all the credit for what the traditional right has been fighting for for ages.

@tomthefunky Not to sound like a dick, but I don't think any of my comments on this video claim that I know about libertarianism, especially its history, I just mentioned my own personal annoyance towards the idea and people who call themselves libertarians.

@MotherNikita: Libertarians took their philosophy from conservatism, not the other way around. Conservatism has it's origins going back to Cicero and Aristotle all the way to what's called "The Scottish Enlightment" of the eighteenth century. People like Adam Smith and Edmund Burke. Libertarianism has been around since when? the 1990's? No offence, but you know absolutely nothing about political philosophy in historical terms.

Almost ALL "news" networks now a days pander and misinform, if you believe somehow that does'nt apply to you then you just prove your one of "the most misinformed people".
