01 Beekeeping Course, Manchester 6.59

Last year The Co-Operative Society, which has about 600 bee hives on its farmland all over the UK, began a pilot scheme in Manchester to try to make people aware of the plight of the Honeybee.
They hoped that this new awareness would cause people to want to help preserve and protect them.
People with allotments in Manchester were helped to begin bee keeping and this filming is the result of their funding and support and the ongoing education programme.
