  • Great video. It would have been nice if David Suzuki could have given a press conference during the election campaign, explaining all of this!

  • sorry, i need to start going over responses more often, but, yes, agreed. i don't blame him, however: he is not a member of the canadian-news-organism. it is not his responsiblity but rather the orginizations responsible for reporting news. and since media can be privately owned, who owns (majority shareholders) the medium of media you depend on?...and how difficult is it to answer this simple questions?

  • And the liberals offer? They were in power for years with no environmental policy improvement. David Suzuki is a sell out anyway, as is Al Gore.

    Vote NDP

  • I vote Green. Did you watch the debate? Elizabeth May was the most articulate and demonstrated a firm understanding of the issues and the facts concerned with them.

  • Elizabeth May was the most annoying candidate in the debate, repeatedly interupting everyone.

  • Yes, i foresaw that argument: that she repeatedly interrupted, because, like you (i'm assuming - "like you" - since that was your initial and, therefore, most probably, your most important contention on the issue of May's shortcomings), that's the only flaw that i saw, too.

  • @ruachta but they believe in tax-payer funded baby death.

  • ok but cutting and trading carbon is not the solution. if they want to put an electric car on the road, ill support that, or if they want to use hemp instead of trees, ill also support that. but you will find that most of their so called solutions, are just money grabs and do nothing to address real environmental issues.

  • Sorry for the long reply but if I can help one person see the reality of what's going on here I'll feel a little bit saner.

  • But what if you burn resources at too fast at a rate exponentially increasing every year. Think about it. Weve pretty much as humans already touched the edges of the planet. Thats why a vast amount of people including the worlds real scientists asking questions about what the effect might be. As it is now the planet has with it a growing life form that will never stop its production. We're like a bacteria that hasn't evolved yet. Yet. But hopefullt that will change soon. Oh, I mean soon.

  • RESEARCH MANY SOURCES PLS Not a money making hoax (although humans always find a way to profit from campaigns) Not the usual 10000 year climate change that this planet normally does. Simply humans evolving in way best described as ..."whatevers convenient no matter what the repercussions for this Planet and its Inhabitants are after I'm dead." Humans won't stop multiplying as long as their is resource and an atmosphere to keep them alive.

  • I haven't given them any money. Its not for them its for me.

  • oh im not debating that climate change is real. my point is that human activity has very little to do with it. the main drive behind all climate change, in the universe, is the sun. these guys are just trying to get rich off peoples gullability. dont be one of them.

  • wow what a lamo response. The reality is actually all around you if you decide to look. Don't think solely on how someone may be presenting an idea. Instead, do the research, read a couple books on the matter and for christ's sake man...WAKE UP. There's no need for evidence there's is just so much research on the subject. eg. Check out the polar Ice Caps on google earth and compare NASA photo's of the last twenty years. That's a start. GO
