I saw Prof Salthouse's show many years ago at Albacon in Glasgow. It was always a great highlight of the convention, and managed to draw in every member to see this wonderful show.
John Salthouse was a wonderful chap and he and his show will be sadly missed.

Thank you for this tribute. I had no idea he was no longer with us. I had the great privilige of assiting him in the 1990s for his Science day lectures in UCD where I did chemistry as an undergrad, postgrad and even postdoc.
I still have all his printed recipes here and would love to try them one day!

I am deeply sorry for the loss of such an amazing Professor. Chemistry is my favorite science of them all and he contributed so much to this branch of science.
