Human fallibility is the foundation of our Constitution. I do not pretend I am not susceptible to the same; on the contrary, I embrace the fact that I am. This is why I find your inability to understand the concept of the Supreme Court disturbing. Their purpose is to prevent legislative powers from exceeding their authority; you claim they decide what "authority" is.

Wrong. To clarify, the Supreme Court decides not what is constitutional, but what laws are declared "constitutionally sound".

Why do you think there are nine of them? Because, the Founding Fathers recognized human fault. This is also the reason the Constitution can be amended to. Only the first twelve amendments were in the original bill of rights, the others were added as amendments to clarify errors previously undefined.

They don't decide what is constitutional, just which politicians aren't.

Go find two friends and read the Constitution together. Now discuss what it means in the context of the modern world. Did you agree 100% on all issues? No? The Supreme Court is the law of the land. It is the power that declares which aspects of the constitution are being violated. It's also a group of men. If politicians can be corrupt, why can't Supreme Justices? Is it their title? Is it their "duty"?

Get some common sense, kid. The Constitution (as DediJ8k said) is what determines the Constitutionality of our laws. The Constitution is written simply, to be understood without need for special interpreters. Don't blame others for your ignorance.
