@mskiUSMC you are absolutely right. the largest deer i have seen alive in michigan was a 130 inch 8 pointer during the summer while driving my quad in the back pasture. and a 130 inch deer to me is a trophy.. hell a fucked up rack 5 pointer is a trophy to me because you have to put time and effort into shooting a buck. Michigan hunter born and raised and im proud to shoot a small buck. no if's, and's, or but's about it.

3\4 of the fun of hunting is the scouting and foot work. Who wants to shoot a caged animal? I know people who have taken bufalo from bufalo ranches, didn't like that either. Just my opinion. Happy Shooting Jim

its not hunting when you kill something in a cage. now in the wild them are very rare. just not the same. and its 2000 to shoot a caged animal. thats fucked up. for less than 500 i can buy a rifle and license tags and all that and go HUNT one

@Zotos24 those arent for us natural citizens of Michigan... we dont need help... they are for flat-lander tourists too pussy to go and hunt like MEN. Its a good buisness too, because there is always some deuschebag from California or New York willing to spend big money on a "Trophy" dear without having to do any actual hunting for it. Its pick of the litter, shoot and take to the taxidermist. Its a shame.
