@rngDeadEye I am an avid dart fan from the US and there certainly are some Americans who have a clue about darts. However, I would be the first to admit that the sport isn't that popular over here and most people don't even know that there are regulations for how to set up a board. I've been to bars where the board was as low as this guys (or lower) and there wasn't even a throwing line marked on the ground let alone a true Oche.

Actually, it's 7 feet 9.25 inches from the face of the board, not from the wall. But a brick wall with no back board? Either he never misses, or goes thru ALOT of darts!

Really dont hold it next to your ear, no aim at all? the ****, i play with a dude who always hold it next to his ear. and yea, he CAN aim. trowed a few 180's at the training agains me.... so... its just the way you like to trow. if you trow good.. dont chance anything becouse this dude say so.

Wow, are expert village videos a joke? No beginner should listen to this guy.
He is wrong on so many levels.
1. No backboard
2. He's either 7 feet tall or his board is too low. 5' 8" from ground to the bullseye.
3. 10 to 12 feet? 7' 9" 1/4 from the wall.
4. Try many ways to hold it, some ways you can aim better the others.
