No taxation without service delivery. This is what the Karen model is suggesting. The model leaves so many uncomfortable questions unanswered. Is it replicable elsewhere? Is this not the same model Mungiki and the Taliban were adopting in the city estates only to be curtailed by the state? The Karen model must be stopped immediately and all sectors of government asked to do their work. Service accessibility apartheid, as exemplified by Karen, is a dangerous precedence for our country.
