They are the lords of deceit, milking millions from the city council in a well-oiled scheme. The racket involves procurement of goods and services at inflated prices and it involves council employees and suppliers. Rashid Ronald reports one of the rackets new city town clerk Philip Kisia must crack.

  • they are just a bunch of hungry dude trying to a juicy morsel on the table for there families.

  • That's true. But what's the point is they are stealing everything than helping.

  • Don't wana be them, when the money gets followed and shit sticks on thier shoe?

Rashid Ronald: encoded secret message for you----"everyonelovesfatchicks"--------thanks

  • do you know of any country in the world that does not have a city hall? well managed city halls give services more effectively than big governments.

  • With Mungiki/Talibans 'taxation' is extortion from a struggling poor n only a few top Don Coleones benefit.

In the Karen Model yu get an organized and efficient outfit ran by a closed and rebellious rich running their own 'Jimbo' affairs. Accountability tops their agenda.

Mayor Majiwa and Kisia don't even come anywhere close!

Let's c wht Rashid hs today on ntv

  • No taxation without service delivery. This is what the Karen model is suggesting. The model leaves so many uncomfortable questions unanswered. Is it replicable elsewhere? Is this not the same model Mungiki and the Taliban were adopting in the city estates only to be curtailed by the state? The Karen model must be stopped immediately and all sectors of government asked to do their work. Service accessibility apartheid, as exemplified by Karen, is a dangerous precedence for our country.

  • The Karen idea is perfect...but poverty in the city boroughs would be a major challenge. Guys don't even want to pay rent, let alone taxes.

  • That is correct. It would be news if he didn't.

  • Kibaki will be calling them to congratulate them....

  • service delivery from city hall to Nairobian is zero, yet they collect rates and taxes from Nairobians with a passion. All these happens as our useless kanjoras trade blows over who should be mayor. Scrap the whole damn council.
