Naming of the DramaThe drama was previously known as Festival and later renamed to You've Fallen For Me. Fans of the drama were able to vote and give ideas for the English title of the drama, and on May 9, 2011, the drama was announced to be named as Heartstrings.[1]

[edit] Background InformationThis drama's main lead, Jung Yong Hwa and Park Shin Hye, were originally paired from SBS's 2009 drama, You're Beautiful. Jung Yong Hwa's character, Kang Shin Woo, was involved in a one-sided love relationship with Park Shin Hye's character, Go Mi Nyu. This pair never got together in You're Beautiful and fans are looking forward to seeing the pair in Heartstrings.

[edit] SummaryLee Shin is a university student majoring in modern music. He is also the vocalist and guitarist of the band "The Stupid." Shin is known for his good looks and strong passion for music, but in reality he is cold, lacks interest in anything unrelated to music and has neither dreams nor plans for the future. He initially likes Jung Yoon Soo, a dance professor at university, but this all changes when he meets Lee Kyu Won.

Lee Kyu Won is a bright and outgoing student who was born into a prestigious family and is majoring in traditional Korean instruments, especially the gayageum. Kyu Won's grandfather, Lee Dong Gun, is one of the top 3 traditional musicians of his age and his biggest wish is to see his granddaughter become a traditional music prodigy. Trying to live up to her grandfather's expectations, Kyu Won immerses herself in training and becomes a university student who knows nothing outside of her studies. As her friends are fans of "The Stupid", she was forced to go to the band's concert with them. There she saw Lee Shin performing live, and is immediately captivated by him. .

i really thought that ki young was going to have a love line with kyo won because from the time he sand everyone was in aw including kyu won herself! I wanted the director to LOOK like he liked her, i wanted ki young to like her and I wanted lee shin to like her! I wanted hee joo to like ki young and jeon hee to like hee joo, but ending with hee joo with joen hee. ki young with no one. and lee shin with kyu won

@kkaykathy if only .. like in episode 7 when the director took kyu won to her house instead of lee sin he was jealous ! i thought the "jealousy thing" would continue but nothing happened after that it was disappointing but yeah i think you're right about the dance teacher and he seems like he loves her . only two episodes left i don't think what we're hoping for will happed xD . LOL i think we're over thinking

@MonkeyDLuffy77 not necessarily want them to end up together but i want lee sin to get jealous and the director has this feeling aboout kyu won that isnt just cause he sees potential in her like he says i honestly thinks he does have feelings for her but having the dance teacher finally his he doesnt want to let go of his win after all these years ... or am i over thinking ?
