This is a quick demo of a foot rig made with a bleeding edge Blender 2.5 build. It has IK/FK switching, foot roll and tumble controls, and I think it's quite nice : ). I recon the most useful addition to it would be IK/FK snapping.

  • Great work! Just one question. Is it possible to update the position of the two systems IK/FK, so if you switch to the other system, it starts from the current position?

  • @MimeJeh Hmm you just reminded me of one of the things I wanted to add to the rig. I think that matching the fk bones to the ik bones position could be fairly easy. Matching the ik bones to the fk bones might be a bit more tricky.

    But I don't know how to access the poses of the bones through the blender python api. Anyone got any ideas?
