  • I really feel bad for all the people who didn't get to grow up to these games.

  • I never realised before, but actually every track in this game is a classic in its own right..

  • @Kaiser565 Yeah it's true these games are better then most games out now. . . . .well in my opinion!!!

  • Anyone else hear the Basil Poledouris influences?

  • @Kaiser565 What do u mean? Do you mean kids that never experienced that games don't need always to be 3D or good-looking?

  • I used to love dominating on this game in the arcade, ah how many quarters the machines ate up :P

  • @EvilDogMedia

nah how can you say that.maybe you're right ;).altought some track still get credited on the genesis and because of the typical sega sound, like the final boss.it couldn't sound more epic then on the genesis.

  • @aryinc Superior hardware does not make for superior music. I know the Genesis has better hardware and has pumped out some awesome tunes, but in the case of Golden Axe the available resources were squandered. C64 wins hands down.

  • @Utubesuxmycock

this ain't genesis this is fastly superior hardware, but i find sega genesis music to be a bit better then this at times, maybe because it's a bit less polished.this sounds like a bit to much horns.

  • @EvilDogMedia

a comon how could that be.sega genesis has superior sound hardware so does the arcade, the arcade one beeing the nicest.

  • The C64 version had the best music.

  • This reminds me of my childhood, my grandparents had an old golden axe arcade thingy and every time i went to their house, i played the whole game and used a popsicle stick in place of money :P
