This is the theme of the final boss, Zalbak, from Lufia: The Legend Returns.
No one has ever made a remix of this especially for an instrument and I am hoping that this will be good as I spent countless hours on this.

NOTE: Please read before commenting!!
1) Sorry for the repeat not working at the end, I don't have the full, registered version of Finale Notepad 2007.
2) Sorry for the glitchy tied notes and some of the lines there. And also,
the notation is different at certain times because the program crashed on me when I tried to use multiple layers and such.
3) Again, since I don't have the registered version, I cannot add cool effects and such.
4) Since I am new to this program, I really don't know all the functions so stay away from criticizing me and of course, constructive comments are encouraged.

Thanks to Yasunori Shiono for making this theme from the 8-bit GBA game and Finale Notepad '07 for putting this project together!

Please feel free to rate and comment! (greatly encouraged especially for improvement) and ENJOY!

  • Yes, it is. A pitiy the game only appeared on GBC

  • Maybe he wanted to do it in C minor for a reason? To give it a different sound?

  • I'm not sure why you have a half note in the middle of bar 9... It gets a little hard to follow from bar 14 onward. I THINK I know how you probably wanted it to sound but the weird ties everywhere just make it sound strange.

And I used to use Finale Notepad and know how limiting it is. You should download the 30 day trial of Finale Printmusic. Not for "effects" but to maybe fix the ties and perhaps the triplets at the beginning.

  • I suppose I should award you points for effort...

Right from the beginning I noticed you have a key signature mistake. The piece is in A minor. But it IS an arrangement so different key signatures aren't a big deal.

Second, there are NO triplets at the beginning or in any other parts of the rhythmic sections. The only triplets in the piece appear in the melody later on which I see you used eighth notes instead which is... strange.

I did like from the end of bar 5 to bar 8 though.

  • This is certain a great composition Rollervadel!
