AT THE START OF THE VIDEO YOU COULD HAVE HAD YOUR GLOVES ON AND THE PAINT REMOVER HEATING UP AND GIVE A DEMO, YOU WASTE TO MUCH TIME TALKING.

You're probably right. I suppose I could cut out the beginning part. But looking at the YouTube chart for when people leave the page and stop viewing everyone seems to watch it up to the point where the tubes heat up. That seems to be the part most people watch. Oh well.

nice hard hat.

@bryantsalmon2, I was hoping that hat might prevent any sparks that might fly out of the paint remover from igniting my hair. But everything turned out fine, no fireworks.

I did a test on small 4ft. x 4ft. piece of plywood. It went well, but the paint wasn't very thick so it wasn't representative of the house paint I wanted to remove. So I eventually just said, "what the heck!" and I did about half of one section (lower 1/3 of a 24ft exterior wall of the house). That went really well and I was scraping off some really thick stuff. But it's not a one person job unless you have some kind of way to prop the heater up against te house. So my wife helped and it worked.

@baizawai I've done a follow-up showing the way I use the paint remover to scrape the paint. Just go to the top level of my YouTube page. It's the 'featured' video now.
