Need help with aphids. Killing my cilantro and parsley in my mesclun mix. Tomato and basil out of control and jalapeños doing fairly well too. All but killed my zavory and habañero with online remedy. (I had more aphids on new growth in center of habañero and zavory plants) live and learn i guess. I already got 2 extra Habañeros sprouting anyway.

  • Great garden... I have a patio container garden as well, and i could never grow cilantro either and i also start from plant. :(

Im getting a portable greenhouse, so Maybe i'll try growing it again

  • @LoniYoni Keep me updated on how it goes! I would love one of those but do not have the room for it.

  • I'm doing the exact same apartment gardening thing, basically. My cilantro looks good, though. I'm growing it in two places, inside and outside... and the stuff outside is in much better shape (I've been giving it much more water). The only thing I can suggest is that you need to water it every day and make sure the soil drains well. I have one of the pots with a huge hole in the bottom and I'm using miracle grow soil.

  • @sheepburn Thanks. It also got spider mites. I think I give up on it this year.

  • wheres the habanero plant???

  • @marito001 One of the Habanero replants has started to flower. Video will be up in a week or so.

  • @covertcriminal Ok, that would be awesome

  • @covertcriminal That was a cayenne. Its just now turning red, and its the biggest cayenne I've ever seen. When it's done ripening I'll do a video of me taking a bite of it.

  • @sheepburn Thanks! I too am using miracle grow. My aphid problem is gone and I planted extra cilantro and it seems to be doing fine. I used an insecticidal soap spray. After a few weeks of that they have not come back.

  • @MrBlue609

Thanks! I've already harvested the mesclun mix several times and it keeps growing back again. Its a bit hot for it here in Florida so I might move that one to the shade. I've gotten a few jalapeño flowers but no peppers yet. Thanks for the comment!

  • Great garden Criminal. Wide range of herbage is nice to see. You will have very nice salads. Hot peppers are the best part...
