he is using scores because it is his choice and the way I m also concert pianist, and I find that it is amazing that when you hear quartetts, duos, solo violonist (most of the time) they play with scores, so why not for pianists....? I never dared to play with scores, but now I will! I will perform november 22nd in the weill recital hallat Carnegie, with 2 mozart concerti and one of Haydn.... with scores....
