tyme in chicken soup? doesn't sound that good sorry.i always put the carrots in toward the end for only 5 min so they dont turn to mush.

so is this good for teeth? is chicken a lot different in consistency than say cow or pork?

also I would not peel the carrots just wash them.

@awsomenesscaleb Nevertheless, using the breasts to make broth is a waste of high quality meat. You should cut the breasts off for use in other dishes, and use the rest of the carcass and meat to make broth.

Chicken broth uses the meat from the chicken to enhance the flavor. Chicken stock only uses the bones.

I have a better tasting chicken broth recipe using the rotisserie cooked chicken from Costco or anywhere. When u finish eating the meat off the chicken, put carcass in 500 deg oven until it is dark brown. Put it in a pot, add water to cover carcass,and celery, onion if u want.
Add salt & pepper.Boil until the broth is darker and tasty and meat falls off bones. Let cool, remove meat from bones and toss the bones. Cool in fridge and skim off hardened grease. Use for chicken soup or any soup.
