Back2Basic: Cream Foundation

(Level: General/Beg/Int). I received many inquiries as to how they can prevent their foundation from 'cake-ing', and when I ask to see how they apply their foundation, I am quite surprised that everyone is 'cake-ing' on their foundation right off the bat. Remember, caked-on foundation is 'human error' - you caked that on your skin! By applying too much initially. So this 17min in-depth video talks about proper way to match your foundation, prep & priming the skin, my preferred application technique on applying cream foundation, and setting tips. This also applies to mousse, gels, and tube foundations. Altho real helpful to Beginers, I think this video will benefit everyone including Pros. I hope this video helps. Thanks for sharing your makeup application techniques with us. I absolutely LOVE your videos!!! PS I really like the voice in the background telling you to stay out of their lipstick. Reminds me of my Mom. It was the only makeup she wore because it was the only makeup she knew how to apply. So it was the only makeup available to me for my tap and ballet recitals. You are my hero!

I was wondering if you could answer my question, I have _very_ oily skin, and I have found that when I wash my face before bed and use an olive oil scrub and follow up with a lotion that is oil based, the next morning my skin doesn't have an oily feel to it and looks AMAZING. Do you know why?
