Circle Line Hammersmith Extension and New Underground Trains

This is a video of the new new circle line extension which is due to start construction late 2009. The are also some images of the new tube trains coming in to service

That was the original plan but now the surfae stock wont come into operation until summer 2010 with the last train in service on the district line in 2018.

Just a note: The 'extension' is simply a service extension over existing Hammersmith & City Line track - there is no construction involved.

Really i was told there was some construction involved including a new depot for the new stock at hammersmith as well as station redevolpment. I was also told that the construction of the new circle line depot can be seen being constructed to the left once leaving hammersmith on the hammersmith and city line....

Wow - on the 'S' Stock (replacing the old Circle Line trains), it looks like you can walk through the carriages without any fuss!

@BigFoot8336 They are already out on the Metropolotan line now, and the District line is being fitted in Nobember 2011, the metropolitan had them since July 2011

btw is the interior for the district line picture actually right? Are they actually gonna have it interiored that colour

Cool S-Stock (Circle Line) and the 2009 stock for victoria line. In singapore, our new line is also called circle line, but instead our train is a 3-car formation. Btw hw many cars is the new trains in london?
