so---where's the miraculous victory against the infidels? where is the quick easy glory, the global uprising of all muslims, the world kalifdom, the celebrations, the help of russian "allies," the revolt of americans against their government, the total collapse of the west, the new golden age of the middle east? where is the "laziness" & "decadence" & "cowardice" of americans & of israelis? what do all the pretty speeches of hamas add up to in terms of results?

highly recommend the following books: Middle East Diary, 1917-1956, by Richard Meinertzhagen, Cresset Press: London. He was Allenby's Chief Political Officer. And, of course, you are invited to surf the many web sites of people who have located the homes of their great-great grandfathers and mothers, now the property of Arabs as found in propaganda sites connected with "Palestinians".
