i have the same exact colors in my hair right now, except i didn't bleach the part that has the hot hot pink in it. love your hair.

U have piercings on your neck!!

You should put it on dry, clean hair when you use a semi or demi dye. Semi colors stain the hair, and water impedes the process. And with a demi the water makes it harder for the color to get underneath the hair cuticle.
It lasts longer if you do it on dry hair.

i have black hair but right now it's got like redish purple roots and i want to dye my hair completely purple like mystic violet or cyber purple i know i'll have to dye it but what vol is best for me? and how long should i leave the bleach on for?
thanks :D

@aikoshijo Basically the higher volume peroxide you use and the smaller the spaces between bleaching, the more damage the hair will take. I suggest 30vol and space it out as long as possible with regular conditioning. A permanent purple box dye would only require mid to light brown hair for it to show purple, but if you're going for a bright semi-permanent colour like Manic Panic the best results come from blonde hair. I suggest doing a strand test first to see how quickly your hair lightens x

Hi, I'm an african american female and i have black hair. I want to dye it burgandy/red/plum (somewhere in that area, just bright in color). I've tried the koolaid and rinses but it's still black for the most part. I can't get the bright vibrant color that I want. Please help......any advice?

@MSLATRICE20 You're going to have to lighten with something a little stronger than home remedies etc, bleach is best, if you want a red colour you don't have to lighten any higher than the orangey stage. I went from black to bright red hair the same way :) x
