Time lapse video of snow storm. Music used is by Yuri Simonov (The Nutcracker Suite: I Overture (original))
I used Nikon D300, took 1800 odd pictures at 6MP resolution using a timer, then resized it to 1080p using Irfan view.
Finally converted to video @ 10 fps using VirtualDub. Added audio using Windows Movie Maker and reencoded at 720p, as the 1080p video was a bit too large.

Global Warming was a poor choice of words the scientists used. To many closed minded people, they think that it means the earth is raising in temperature. A better use of words would be Global climatic change.

great choice in music. i always like to listen to the nutcracker when its snowing! sounds so dorky but it makes me feel like the snow flakes are dancing.

How did you take the 1800 pictures? timer on remote?
what time was this taken.

D300 has inbuilt timer. I used a 20 sec time interval to shoot those images, entire shooting lasted 10 hours.
If your camera doesn't have time lapse mode, you needn't worry, as this can be achieved on any Canon P&S camera if you use CHDK (google for CHDK) firmware.
