Back at the old shed....Bench press 225# 8 reps, 225# 4 reps, short flex....curls 115# 9 reps. Getting stronger !! Will upload 300# bench press next week.

  • with a perfect body like that, i dont believe thats the only routine he does. im sure he works out his legs, shoulders and abs off the camera. just curious, why does he have a spotter who is not in shape at all? is he his dad?

  • Thanks....Josh does a lot of other routines including pull ups, chins, lat and triceps workouts, some crunches but the abs are really just natural ( gotta love those guys with the good genes), push-ups, some squats, and runs a few miles three times a week. I am the spotter by the way, and tried to keep up with him and ended up with a torn biceps and other issues, so now I just make sure he is safe while lifting.

  • Good workout. If you don't mind me asking, exactly what type of bench is that and where did you get it?

  • It is called a Smith Cage and is made by a company called "Marcy". I like it a lot and it is a very safe way to bench, squat etc. alone. I got it at Sam's Club. About $250 if I remember correctly.

  • whatever happened to the next week 300 lb press video?

  • Hey...Josh hurt his shoulder last week and is just geting back into the benching. He still could do the flys and curls but everytime he tried to do a bench press it hurt. It still is sore but he is working his way back up and I hope to get it on video by the beginning of June. Sorry fir the delay.

  • the only negative thing i can say is that ur arching ur back too much. I used to have the same problem.

  • I must say he is strong for a small guy...he could put mass on easy by using a weight gainer and a Creatine loading phase over a six week course..gainers have a good protein/carb balance which works well with mass gaining....i use to use them in strong man contest at 6 foot 310lbs....
