Ever seen "The Abyss"? These little microbes are just like the creatures in that film. They are an adult and juvenile Water Flea from my garden pond. These guys are just shy of a millimeter across as adults and that juvenile you see is roughly half that size. I will NEVER get bored of seeing all those internal workings busying away. I am new to this level of microscopy so I can't really offer any more information that that for the time being. Sometimes just seeing it is enough though.... Captured using a compuond microscope at about 200X

  • It is yes :) Very pleased with it actually. The frame rate hasn't quite captured the internal movement there but well enough and better than most others apparently. All in all the T31 is just plain fantastic.....
