Women of Honor: Modern Murder

Follow the stories of 5 Middle Eastern descent women who have been killed in European, Middle Eastern and North American countries from 2005-2008. The last two, Leila and Rand, are mother and daughter. It's estimated 5,000 women die around the world each year as the result of an honor killing. The numbers are expected to be higher as many are passed off as suicide/accidents or because honor killing is legal in some Islamic countries, it is not reported.

Note: Leila Hussein's death is technically not an honor killing but she was murdered as a direct result of her own daughter Rand's honor killing so she is included.

Samaira Nazir: British Pakistani, 25 Years Old at the time of her murder

Ghazala Khan: Danish Pakistani, 17-18 Years Old at the time of her murder

Aqsa Parvez: Canadian Pakistani, 16 Years Old at the time of her murder

Leila Hussein: Iraqi, 30-31 Years Old at the time of her murder

Rand Abdel-Qader: Iraqi, 17 Years Old at the time of her murder

Have you guys read the koran? There is a whole chapter on women. One is something along the lines of "If you feel your women is guilty of disloyaly or lewdness (first) admonish them, (second) refuse to share beds, (last) BEAT THEM LIGHTLY!" Exact words guys....

This people care more about some invisable man in the sky then their own children and family and there own stupid honour...seriously no one gives a rats ass about honour. You are actually looked down upon by these things...stupid people should feel the pain and suffering.

@tsusajop Many more than me also deserve credit. Take Indonesia, whose Sharia government was the latest to bring in death by stoning. Also preachers worldwide bring Islam home to the masses. Watch MUSLIM CLERIC TEACHES HOW TO BEAT YOUR WIFE or 3 YEAR OLD GIRL YEARNS TO KILL INFIDELS and send them a congratulatory note too!

And none of us are fooled by 'read the Koran in Arabic'. I take quotes from translations approved by Islamic scholars. Why not send them a friendly email too?

@tsusajop Islam's hardly nice is it? Koran 4:34 advocates wife beating and brutal sexism and Ishaq 327 states 'a prophet must slaughter before collecting captives'. Those are just two which come to mind and we do blow the whistle all the time.

Muslims just don't learn. They insist on Sharia, halal and all their other crap in the West, saying it's all benign. But all you have to do is look at how the Islamic world behaves towards women, apostates, gays or animals to see it needs to be exposed.

The story of Rand and Leila is something that makes me want to turn away from Humanity in shame. She wasn't even in a relationship with the soldier. All she did was fall in love with him. Nothing was ever reciprocated and she only met him 4 times but that was enough to condemn her and later her mother after she found the courage to flee. "Honour killing" the sickest fucking joke since the "Clean Germany" envisioned by the Nazis.

@tsusajop And there it is - the argument can't be rebutted so the Muslim attempts to ridicule - a whole year later. But Muslims are kings of the vendetta - as far back as Muhammad, people were killed for satirising Islam.
