Highlights of RB Richard Samuel, #56 on TAKKLE/Sports Illustrated's top 100. Richard has verbally committed to Georgia. A no-nonsense running back, Samuel runs hard and punishes defenders. He also possesses great vision and is tough to bring down. As one of the nation's running back prospects, Samuel is sure to excel with more experience and seasoning at the next level.

  • Caleb King runs some where in the 4.4 range and Richard im estimating is probably in that range to and if he is Richard is way better because of his 6'2 215+ lb frame notice i put plus because i have no idea how much he weighs now

  • the HB depth chart goes in this order down to 4th string and the second string isnt a new player he is a sophmore or freshman redshirt

    1.RICHARD SAMUEL!!

    2.Carlton Thomas

    3.Caleb King

    4.Washaun Ealey!-Freshman

  • NO SIR.. Samuel is the 2nd fastest dog he runs under 4.4

  • i agree totally..he just dont have that it factor!..he'll evolve to a good back though..hes no herschel walker..but hell definitely contribute later on

  • just FYI for those who think Caleb King is good... he is third string this year behind a guy who is brand new so yes Caleb King is a bust he is not explosive and doesnt have the heart that Ricahrd Samuel has

  • dude ur an idiot...richard samuel runs a sub 4.4 in his sleep.

  • Does Georgia have the most redneck pricks per capita in the south or something?

How the hell is Caleb King a bust? He played behind the first running back taken in the draft and played pretty well. No it wasn't like an all-American but give the guy a chance to improve. Sheesh!

  • He did really good seeing as how his o-line didn't block for shit.

  • even though I said he was not a fast player according to his 40 time he is very fast. apparently he runs it in under 4.5. I have my doubts though. I guess we will find out this year. I hope he and Carlton Thomas become the starters. I don't think Caleb King has what it takes...

  • he is playing RB at Georgia. With Caleb King quickly becoming a bust Samuel really needs to step it up. I am worried that he isn't fast enough to be a starting running back. There will most likely be a RB by committee at UGA in 09. I think Samuel runs in the 4.65-4.7 range. Not a fast player... King is a bust like I said. I expect Georgia to feature about 4 different RB's in the 2009 season. Carlton Thomas, Samuel, King and Dontavius Jackson. Maybe even a few more. UGA will miss Knowshon
